Call for abstracts is now closed
On June 16, 2017 the deadline for the submission of abstracts for ELFM IV was formally closed. All together 37 extended abstracts were received. The Scientific Committee is currently reviewing the abstracts. A decision concerning the abstracts will be sent to the authors by July 15, 2017.
Regular Speakers: abstract + paper
By June 15, 2017 (extended deadline), both Oral Presenters and Poster Presenters are invited to submit a one-page extended abstract (max. 2,500 characters, incl spaces) through the INDICO electronic form provided here. Presenters indicate the Session they want to be involved in (see list of Session and Topics here) and indicate if they want to present orally and/or through a Poster. Participants will be notified about their contribution by June 30, 2017 (decision: 1. Oral Presentation, 2. Poster Presentation, or 3. Not Accepted – decision made by the Scientific Committee).
All accepted Presenters (both Oral and Poster Presenters) are then invited to provide a 6-page paper in A4 format by November 10, 2017 which will be published in the official Symposium Proceedings together with the papers of the keynote speakers. The standard paper template will be provided here in the near future. Strict adherence to the paper guidelines (e.g. figure/table caption and reference style) is obligatory. Submission of the manuscript is performed through the on-line submission tool.
Invited Speakers: paper only
Invited Speakers do not need to provide an extended abstract. However, all Invited Speakers need to submit a paper for inclusion in the Symposium Proceedings. The paper length for the Review/Position papers is maximum 14 pages, while the length for case-study Invited Lectures is maximum 6 pages. Deadline for this paper Submission is also November 10, 2017.
